The Millenium goal

The article makes me feel like the goverments are finally doing something that will really help our long term goals. I think that the goverments could just continue what it is doing and maybe help out the developing countries a bit and we will all be fine. The 10,000 less deaths stuck out for me because that is an amazing fact and it is just great. when it said something about health coverage 2.28 per each person i was really confused.
I think that now every one is trying to help complete the millenuim goals and the child health goal is working well.

Playing for Change

The for the playing for change video was that when we all stand together we can create world peace through music. This could make a diffrence throught gaining famous musicians support after they get support hundreds more people will become aware of what is happening. I really hope that this will make a huge diffrence in our world ecause it will help save a lot of lives.

I found a very intresting article on a famous basketball player who was willing to ride 500 miles to support hunger he was willing to donate lots of money. I really like it when people do dtuff like that

Peace Day

I really enjoyed helping out on peace day becasue it was super fun and we helped a good cause. Peace day isn't something that happens every day and I really enjoyed helping out I especially loved selling the iskl wristbands

The response to the peace day film

I thought that the film was inspirational and I liked how Jeremy Gilley didn't give up. I Think peace is so important because if there is no peace no one can develop and we will not be able to find solutions for our problems. For example if we do not have world peace we will lose the earth because of pollution and with the extra pollution created by conflict.

The game was fun yet challenging because it was so realistic. The game involves trying to survive with four children and at the start of the game you choose a primary objective for your family they can be Money, happiness, health, or education. It is hard because it is so realistic> When I played the game I chose money because you can’t survive without money. I had to make tough decisions like which kid to go to school and if I can buy the children presents or which family member would be able to go to the hospital. In the end chose to take it in turns to go to hospital and the youngest would go to school because there wasn’t much work for him. I made most of the people work and every 2 seasons I would send the person with the lowest healthy top the hospital because they were the sickest. Most parents would devote lots of money for their kids to go to school because if the kids go to school it gives them a better opportunity at life and the kid can get a good job and help pay for the parents. I was only to be able to keep 1 child in school because it was expensive. I face money problems while the kids were in school. I would say that this game is nothing like my life because I have schooling and I don’t have to work for food or money because all of that is supplied for me.

Haiti is an island next to the Dominican republic and is prone to hurricanes. In Haiti there is no tourism because all of the trees and coral has been destroyed. 60 percent of Haiti’s people lack basic needs approximately 1,000 children work as messengers or spy’s and even soldiers for armed gangs.

What are global issues and why should we care

We should care because this is our world and if we don't start taking care of it then there will be no world to care for. Whe must try and stop global problems or "Global Issues". They are our problems not other peoples you should try and help
